WHAT IS STABILANT 22?
Stabilant 22 is an electronic contact enhancer that is initially non-conductive, but becomes conductive under the effect of an electrical field while staying non-conductive between adjacent contact points.
As a contact enhancer, it improves the reliability, functionality and conductivity of all metal connectors.

My business focuses on late model automotive diagnostics. In the past intermittent connections at connectors for airbags were temporarily fixed by moving a connection but not doing anything to improve the connection. Stabilant has allowed me to fix intermittent faults permanently. We see a lot of moisture related damage on connectors. Replacing the harnesses is very expensive since connectors are not available separately. This has saved a lot of BMW and VW customers money. Stabilant is especially effective on I/O slot connectors, adapter-card edge and pin connectors, disk drive connectors, power-supply connectors, and virtually any connector in the PC. In addition to enhancing the contact and preventing corrosion, an application of Stabilant lubricates the contacts, making insertion and removal of the contact easier.

In 1976, William M.D. Wright, the founder of Wright Electroacoustics and the Dayton Wright Group, started to research and develop an electronic contact enhancer that would solve intermittent connector problems and limit connector failures. After several years of field research and trials he finally hit the nail on the head and discovered Stabilant 22.
